Vivo recently declared that the X300 and X300 Pro would be "coming soon" to India. Today, the company revealed that the two smartphones will be available for purchase in India on December 2 at 12 PM local time.

Vivo X300 and X300 Pro: What's confirmed so far?

The color options for the X300 and X300 Pro have been confirmed by Vivo. While the vanilla version will be offered in Phantom Black, Mist Blue, and Summit Red (exclusive to India), the Pro version will be offered in Dune Brown and Phantom Black colorways.

With the launch of the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro in China and other international markets, we have a solid idea of what to anticipate from the next flagships.


Zeiss Camera

The ZEISS collaboration for the cameras on both devices has also been confirmed by Vivo. While the X300 will have a 200MP primary shooter, the X300 Pro will have a 200MP APO Telephoto lens.
The company has also confirmed a photography kit for both the phones, similar to the one Oppo has earlier showcased for the X9 lineup. 


Display

The Vivo X300 has a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen with a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits. The phone has 2160Hz PWM dimming and Armour Glass protection to reduce eye strain when reading at night.

The X300 Pro has a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits. Given their IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings, both devices should be able to survive 30 minutes of immersion in water up to 1.5 meters deep.

Camera

A 200MP Samsung HPB primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 50MP Sony LYT602 periscope telephoto lens make up the X300's triple camera setup. The phone has a 50MP camera on the front.

In contrast, the X300 Pro has a 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto lens, a 20MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 50MP Sony LYT828 primary camera. It has a 50MP camera for video calls and selfies.

Processor

The MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor and Arm Mali G1 Ultra MC12 GPU power the X300 and X300 Pro. Up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage are supported by the X300.

Battery

The Vivo X300 Pro has a 6,510 mAh battery, while the Vivo X300 has a 6,040 mAh battery.
40W wireless and 90W wired charging are supported by both.

Price

The Vivo X300 is priced between 4,399 yuan (approximately ₹55,000) and 5,799 yuan (approximately ₹72,000. In contrast, the top variant of the X300 Pro costs 6,699 yuan (approximately ₹83,475), while the base model starts at 5,299 yuan (approximately ₹66,000.

Please take note that this is the X300 series' Chinese price; the Indian price is probably going to be higher.

For those who do not know, the standard Vivo X300 costs EUR 1,049 (approximately ₹108,000), while the Vivo X300 Pro starts at EUR 1,399 (approximately ₹143,000). Therefore, we anticipate that the X300 series may start at about ₹100,000 in India. Await the official launch with anticipation!
